

About the Dubai Duty Free International Weekend

The Dubai Duty Free International Weekend features top class racing across the two days and is one of the highlights of the autumn racing calendar.
​
The feature race of the meeting is the 53rd running of the Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes, it is an important Group 2 event for two-year-olds run over six furlongs. The race commemorates Mill Reef, winner of the 1971 Derby, Eclipse Stakes, King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Mill Reef is widely regarded as one of the greatest horses of all time.​ Other valuable races include the Group 3 Dubai Duty Free Autumn Cup and The Dubai International Airport World Trophy.

This year will also feature a live concert after racing with Brit-award winner James Bay making his debut at Newbury Racecourse on Saturday 20th September.

Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire is conveniently situated in the centre of the South of England, easily accessible from Junctions 12 and 13 of the M4, from the M3 and A34. Sat navs use the postcode RG14 7PN for the easiest access route on racedays. There is ample FREE on-the-day parking.

Newbury Racecourse also has its own station, one stop from Newbury Station, with direct trains from London Paddington on selected major racedays and regular connections from the West.
